5K RUN/WALK

Asbury Methodist Church
Salisbury, Maryland
Registration: 8:30 AM
Run/Walk: 10:00 AM
Christopher Mull has struggled with seizures since he was 10 weeks old. After thousands of seizures, emergency room visits, numerous hospital stays and testing, failed drugs, ketogenic diet, six different neurologists, and alot of worry the Mull family got a definite diagnosis of a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome, for which their is no cure. Still, Christopher is a very lucky boy, he is young and has the support of his family and friends.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Mull family must raise $11,000 --- the amount of money equivalent to what it will cost for the training and placement of a seizure response dog. The dog will help alert caregivers to seizure activity, assist Christopher with his balance, and emotional support when needed. It takes approximately nine months from the time they raise the money, until the time they train and get the dog, so lets get racing!
