2011 Epilepsy Association Open Golf Tournament
EAES Signature Golf Event Continues to be a Success
On June 15, 2011 the 8th annual Epilepsy Association Open Golf Tournament took place at the Bay Club Golf Course in Berlin, Maryland raising close to $10,000 for EAES. Once again, Rob Bailey, PGA Head Professional and staff at the Bay Club (http://www.thebayclub.com/) offered their gracious hospitality and resources to help produce a successful charity tournament. Several special event holes were on the course this year. There was a “longest drive” and “closest to the pin” hole(s). The possible prized hole-in-one car, a 2010 KIA Soul , was made possible by the courtesy of Sherwood Motors.
Tweny businesses (see following list), including restaurants and golf courses, donating gifts that were awarded to winning teams and players --- the tournament continues to be the signature fundraising event for this agency. Participating businesses include:
