Full-Time Positions

Below, are two open positions in which we are looking for caring individuals who can be a positive role model and assist developmentally disabled adults with daily living skills. Each of the homes in the Residential Program provide these two positions. The consumer profile may be different at each home, as well as the specialized skills needed to assist them. The employee's schedule remains relatively the same, with some differences during the week for the Resident Assistant. Resumes are not required.

HOUSE MANAGER (currently all positions are filled)

EAES now has an opening for a full-time live-in weekday counselor to provide assistance with daily living skills for three non-ambulatory developmentally disabled adults. This is a supervisory position requiring asleep overnight stays, five nights a week (Sunday-Thursday). Experience in a related field is preferred. A CNA or GNA certificate is require red, along with heavy lifting. EAES offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

RESIDENT ASSISTANT

EAES now has an opening for a full-time live-in weekend counselor to provide assistance with daily living skills for two developmentally disabled adults. This position requires asleep overnight stays Friday and Saturday night. Additionally, the position requires a four-hour shift Wednesday evening to assist three developmentally disabled adults, and a four-hour shift Thursday in the daytime to mentor a non-ambulatory adult. Experience in a related field and behavior modification is preferred. Heavy lifting may also be required. A CNA certification is a plus. EAES offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.


Part-Time Positions

EAES is looking for caring individuals who can be a positive roll model to developmentally disabled residents and to assist with daily living skills. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to: promoting independence, activities, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, documentation, transportation, personal care, and heavy lifting for some consumers.

SUPPORT COUNSELOR

The SUPPORT COUNSELOR position is essentially “on-call”. Support Counselor's choose their hours from available pool of hours offered. Hours are generally offered once a month when the next months schedule is being completed. Hours are also offered, at times, the same day the shift is needed to be covered due to last minute call-out. Continued good standing with the agency is not dependent on working a minimum number of hours per pay period. Benefits are not offered with this position. Experience in a related field and/or a CNA certification is preferred. Training is provided and required to be completed within three months to maintain employment. Re-certification are also required to be maintained for relevant training's. Interviews occur as needed, but generally occur quarterly.
